Becca had been talking about riding horses every day... I finally took her out to the Leslie's :) Colter took her for a nice long ride. She loves horses and wishes we had a barn full!

Thank you Colter for taking me riding!

Eli had a little visitor come up from Mesa last week. He was so HAPPY :) Her name is Florence (Flo). They met five years ago at an EFY in Flagstaff :) They have a lot of fun together! I just hope our family didn't scare her too much :)
We enjoyed our visit with her :) Becca sure loved having another girl in the house!
In honor of the Arizona Cardinals going to the Super Bowl, I wanted to put up some pics of Grayson playing football! He loves his football! He is quite the little athlete... Basketball is coming up next week, he is so excited! I should also mention that he was in the district spelling bee last week. He went fourteen rounds... he was eliminated on... drumroll... boysenberry! He spelled it boisenberry, silly boi! :) Good Job Grayson!

Go Cardinals!!!!!

We are waiting for the boys to come out on court so we can hoot and holler :) The stands look so empty! We played another 2A school from three hours away... it did fill up a little bit more :) Our side was packed! When Becca gets to perform in her recitals she has to wear her hair in a bun and have make up on, sooo I let her wear some for this performance as well :)

I tried getting a picture of her performing... my camera isn't the best at distance. If you look really close she is the one in the white turtle neck :) It was 23 degrees on our way home! I didn't get anymore of her performing because she wanted me to record it. I did, or should I say, thought I did! In the end, I didn't. I pressed the wrong button~thank goodness Becca takes lots of videos on her own :)

Becca watching the clock, waiting for the time to run out... she is ready to go!

Becca and her friend Lydia getting ready to perform at the basketball game. I am surprised they made it out there to dance! They were so busy running around jumping and laughing. As you can see, they were a little close to the game too! They did such a good job! I told her to smile big, even if she messed up, it's no big deal! :) Girls just want to have fun, right?!

Becca had such a cute idea for her hair! She went into the play room and came out with some of my rubber stamps. We sprayed them with temp. hair dye and stamped them onto her hair! There are hearts and flowers in red and white (Go Redskins!) oh and don't forget, lots of glitter spray too! She still sparkles :)

I was taking out the trash one morning, when I glanced down and saw this little handprint. I stopped and looked at it, admiring what a beautiful little sight it was. (knowing that it was Becca's, she's the only one that would have hands that little)
I ran inside to get my camera hoping I could get a picture before something happened to it.(with my luck a dog was getting ready to run right through it) I just love looking at this picture, it makes me think of how lucky I am to be the mother of such amazing children.
I asked Becca about it, she said she was just walking by and knelt down and made a handprint in the snow. When she did that, I bet she didn't think anyone would be mesmerized by it. It's these little times in life when I think of all of my blessings. I hope that I can be the Mother that they deserve. They remind me every day of who I am and need to be. This world can be such a crazy and hectic place. It's life's little treasures, like a handprint in the snow that remind us why we are here.

Yes it's a scarf... not just a scarf though... I made it! I know, shocking! I started this on New Years Eve and finished it a couple of days later. (oops, I told you what I did New Years Eve... don't laugh too hard!) I can't wait to start something else. Maybe I will make some hot pads next... hmmmm :) This is Rebecca's and she wears it proudly :)
